Terms of Service
These Terms of Service form the agreement between Rise of Banners and every user who creates an account or plays the game. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. This document applies together with the Privacy Policy and the Community Conduct rules; in case of conflict, the more specific provision governs.
1. Your account
1.1. You use the service under the lord name you choose. You must provide accurate and complete information when requested and keep your password confidential. You may only use the service if you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.
1.2. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, each player may operate only one account. Additional accounts created to gain an unfair advantage may be restricted under these terms and the Community Conduct rules.
1.3. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, you must change your password immediately and contact us through the support system.
1.4. A valid email address is required at registration. We use it for account verification, account-related notifications, and Lord Chamber features, and you must keep it current.
2. Worlds and the game service
2.1. Rise of Banners is a persistent, browser-based strategy game. You manage a village on a shared map, join banners, trade on the market, and compete against other players until the relevant world ends or you stop playing.
2.2. Each world has its own speed settings, player list, and timeline. We reserve the right to adjust balance, add or remove features, perform maintenance, or close a world. Where possible, lords on the affected world are notified in advance of a reset or closure.
2.3. The service is provided "as is". Brief interruptions, delays, or errors may occur. We make reasonable efforts to resolve significant issues, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
3. Virtual progress and Medallion
3.1. Villages, troops, resources, ranking, and other game state are granted to you solely as a right to play within Rise of Banners. They have no cash value and may not be sold or transferred outside the game unless we expressly permit it.
3.2. Medallion and other optional paid features may deepen queues, unlock cosmetics, or provide convenience. Prices and benefits are shown before purchase. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, no refunds are issued for accounts restricted due to a rule violation or for the closure of a world.
3.3. Unjustified payment disputes and abuse of payment systems may result in your account being suspended while the matter is reviewed.
4. Fair play and acceptable use
4.1. You must comply with the Community Conduct rules and play fairly while using the service. Cheating, exploiting bugs, using bots, unauthorized automation, and harassment are strictly prohibited.
4.2. You may not interfere with the service itself, including bulk scraping, attempts to bypass security measures, or actions that disrupt other lords' connections.
4.3. We reserve the right to remove in-game content (including portraits, profile descriptions, and banner text) that violates these terms or the Community Conduct rules.
4.4. You are solely responsible for all content you create or upload under your account, including your lord name, village name, banner name, banner emblem, profile description, and portrait image. You represent that any content you upload does not infringe the intellectual property or other legal rights of third parties. If we receive a notice that a piece of content infringes such rights, we reserve the right to remove it without review; such removal does not constitute an admission regarding the content's lawfulness.
5. Restrictions and world closure
5.1. We reserve the right to warn, mute, restrict, or close accounts that violate these terms, the Community Conduct rules, or applicable law. Where possible, the reason and duration of any measure are shown on the login screen.
5.2. If you lose your last village in the game, you may see a defeat screen and a restart flow. This is a normal part of gameplay and does not by itself constitute a penalty.
5.3. When a world ends or your account is closed, virtual progress on that world is not converted to cash or transferred unless we offer a specific migration option.
6. Termination of the agreement
6.1. You may stop playing at any time. To the extent permitted by applicable data protection law, you may request account deletion through the support system.
6.2. Where possible, we may suspend or terminate the entire service on reasonable prior notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, governing law, and disputes relating to past gameplay) remain in effect after termination.
7. Limitation of liability and contact
7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rise of Banners is not liable for indirect damages, loss of virtual progress, the actions of other lords, service interruptions, or issues arising from your own device or connection.
7.2. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country that cannot be waived.
7.3. For questions about these terms, please contact us through the support system on the site. For privacy-related requests, see the Privacy Policy.
